On a flat or low-slope roof, water does not run off — it sits. In a Salt Lake winter that means ponding, freeze-thaw at the seams and slow leaks that show up months later. The fix is a membrane that is fully sealed at every seam and edge, and drainage that actually moves water off the roof.
